NFCG members have created 3 one-of-a-kind, framed fish carvings which will be distributed to several differnt Auctions in the Pacific Northwest and West Coast. The proceeds (shared on a 50-50 basis by the various fund raising Auctions) will be used as our primary fund raising effort and help to defray our costs in promoting and enhancing the art of fish carving. These carvings, as well as several others in various stages of completion, will provide some much needed funds. Special thanks to to Ed Barrett, Ray Dodge and Dan Patterson for taking the lead and providing a lions share of the work. Additional thanks go to Ron Edwards, Dale Barrett, Bill Rice and Scott Brown for their assistance in the effort.

CLASSES & ACTIVITIES
With our mission statement in mind TO PROMOTE AND ENHANCE THE ART OF FISH CARVING, the NFCG ocntinues to support local carving shows by submitting entries, putting on seminars and manning our colorful display. Over the past 3 or 4 years we have attended 30 or 40 Shows and events and have provided an exposure to our art form to thousands of people. We are also committed to teaching the art and have conducted many classes ranging from carving a fish, making scale tips, scaling a fish and painting eyes, etc. The following photos are a small representation of our activities. Some of the photos are thumbnails and can be clicked on to provide a larger image.
