This Seminar to be held during the Brant Festival in Parksville British Columbia on Vacouver Island. The Show is April 10th & 11th, 2010. There will be some "hands-on" instruction in the techniques required for vermiculation, spotting and painting the male Brookie in spawing color. There is no charge for the Seminar. In addition to carving and painting the fish, a substantial amount of work will be done on a habitat for each carving. You will design your own habitat and Josh will demonstrate methods of carving, texturing and painting for application to your design.

MICHIGAN GRAYLING (extinct)

Join Jeff for 7 days in recreating the extinct Michigan Grayling. For a believable size the fish will be 13" long, slightly larger than the 11"-12" average, but under the 15" maximum. Jeff will be sending out a pattern sheet with instructions for the habitat items that he will want you to carve before class and bring with you to finish in class.
Cost is $800 plus $35 for the blank / 7 day class with all meals included
